NUC Top 100 NFL Draft Prospects for 2014
NUC NFL Analyst Taber Small gives us his current Top 100 players for the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft. The NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN will surely have an impact on a players draft status. This list will also change
as players decide to either make their names eligible for the draft or stay in school.
As the list stands now the SEC has a commanding lead with 35 players in the Top 100. They are followed by the ACC and PAC-12 with 17 apiece. After that it’s the Big Ten 14 players and the Big-12 with eight. There are only two players from Non-BCS Conferences. They are LB Khalil Mack (Buffalo) and Derek Carr (Fresno State).
Taking a look at which schools have the most players in Taber Small’s Top 100 we see LSU on top with eight, followed closely by SEC rival Alabama with seven. Then comes ACC Power Florida State with five followed by Texas A&M, Ohio State and Stanford with four each.
There are currently 16 NUC alums in the initial Top 100. Each is denoted with an asterisk. Look for the National Underclassmen to shatter its NFL Draft Alumni record in April 2014.
